Created in 2018 after several years of development, ICON Photonics is a startup spinoff from ESIEE Paris. The original core technology is an innovative coupling technology leading to impressive performance enhancement of optical components (VCSELs, photodiodes…) or sub-systems :

  • Coupling efficiency increase in multiple situations : SMF coupling, MMF coupling, MCF coupling…
  • Misalignment tolerance increase : possiblities to reach passive alignment processes
  • From the chip to the wafer : possibility to work at a chip-level as well as wafer level.
